Getting started

Your first setup, one deliberate step at a time

This checklist is for your first working configuration. It links the detailed guides in the order you need them; it is not a product announcement or a promise of sales.

Before you begin

  • Use a creator account you are authorized to manage.
  • Know which audience and workflow you want to automate.
  • Review current plan allowances and your available credits.
  • Keep private fan messages and credentials out of public screenshots or support posts.

1. Sign in and connect the right creator

Create or sign in to your Fanvue Automation account, then use the Fanvue OAuth connection flow. Check the creator shown in Accounts and complete any Reconnect notice. An old avatar or thumbnail is not proof the current connection works.

2. Choose Autopilot or Advanced

Autopilot combines persona and PPV draft preparation in a reviewable setup. Advanced exposes the detailed account, PPV and Script controls. If you already have a working setup, do not replace it just to follow this checklist.

3. Review facts, voice and memory

Write or review the persona, language, boundaries and communication style. Remove invented personal facts. Review any fan memory before including it in live replies; suggestions may need correction.

4. Test a small set of fictional conversations

Use Playground to test a new fan, a returning fan, a question the persona cannot answer and a refusal. Keep the same scenarios when comparing models. Playground is not proof of live delivery.

6. Save, check scope and explicitly start

Review audience, manual exclusions, active hours, timezone, credits and readiness. Save the setup, then enable only the workflow you intend to run. Keep the pause control within reach.

7. Verify an actual outcome before expanding

Review real delivery status and errors. Saved settings do not equal sent messages, and sent offers do not equal purchases. If an outcome is unclear, inspect the existing message or event before retrying.

Common questions

Do I need to enable PPV to test replies?

No. Review the core persona and reply behavior first. Paid-content workflows are a separate deliberate choice.

Where do I check credits?

Use the billing and credit balance shown in your account. Pricing explains the included allocations and current credit packs.

Where is the detailed Autopilot example?

The Autopilot walkthrough explains draft generation, media review, saving and activation, including a worked multi-folder offer example.
