Test Your Fanvue AI Replies Before You Turn On Auto Reply
A practical checklist for testing your Fanvue AI persona in Playground before enabling Auto Reply, with realistic scenarios and a controlled first rollout.

Your AI persona should sound like your creator brand before it starts responding to real fans. That means testing more than a friendly greeting.
Playground gives you a place to explore how your FanvueAutomation persona responds. Use it to identify unclear instructions, inconsistent tone and situations that need your attention before enabling Auto Reply.

Start with a clear persona
Write down how you want to communicate: your usual tone, the languages you use and the boundaries you want to maintain. Give concrete examples rather than instructions such as “be engaging”.
For example: “Keep greetings short and warm. Do not invent personal facts or promise content that has not been offered.”
Persona instructions guide a model; they are not a guarantee that every response will be correct. Testing and ongoing review still matter.
Run your first New test
- Open Playground and select the creator account whose configuration you want to test.
- Choose New test. Use a fictional test username; the default is
playground_fan. This walkthrough does not need an existing fan conversation. - Select Playground: Scripts, Playground: Hybrid or Playground: PPV to match the workflow you are evaluating. Where applicable, select a configured script or leave Automatic script selected. Prepare the relevant scripts and content before testing those workflows.
- Write a message as the fan. Press Enter to send it; Shift+Enter adds a new line. Review the response, then continue the conversation.
- Repeat the same scenarios after changing your persona or model. For a longer automated simulation, Run AI fan flow can continue the test where the required configuration is available.
The interface describes Playground as a sandbox using real persona and AI context: it does not send the test messages to Fanvue. Sandbox timing and relaxed test guards can differ from live operation, so a successful test is not proof of live delivery timing or a real purchase.
Try five realistic conversations
Use fictional examples, not a fan's private details:
- A new greeting: “Hey, I just found your page.” Does the reply sound natural for your brand?
- An unclear request: “Can you send me that one?” Does the reply ask for clarification instead of inventing context?
- A content question: “What kind of content do you offer?” Does the answer stay within what you have actually configured?
- A boundary: “Can you promise me a custom video tomorrow?” Does it avoid commitments you have not authorised?
- A complaint: “This isn't what I expected.” Is the answer appropriate, and would this situation be better handled personally?
Continue each conversation for a few messages. An opening reply can look good while later responses become repetitive or contradictory.
Check the model as well as the prompt
Your persona sets the intended voice, but the selected model also affects responses. If your workflow involves adult content, check that the provider and model support that use case under their current terms. A model with stricter content filtering may decline a request despite your persona instructions. Rewriting the same prompt repeatedly will not necessarily change that.
Compare candidate models using the same persona and test scenarios. Look at tone, relevance, consistency, response time and credit use—not only whether the model answers.
Change one thing at a time
If replies are too long, adjust the length guidance and rerun the same scenarios. If the tone is wrong, change the tone examples. Changing everything at once makes it difficult to tell what helped.
Keep a simple review checklist: accurate, on-brand, appropriately concise, no invented promises, and clear when more information is needed.
Enable Auto Reply deliberately
Before switching to live conversations, review your account's Auto Reply configuration and the audience it applies to. Start with a scope you can personally monitor, where the available settings allow it.
Check initial conversations rather than assuming that a successful test covers every real-world message. Pause automation and adjust your setup if responses do not meet your expectations.
Playground testing is preparation, not proof of future sales or a substitute for human oversight.
Understand the trial
FanvueAutomation's standard free trial includes 100 credits. This is the regular trial, not an additional campaign bonus. Check the current pricing and trial details for the applicable terms and how credits are used.
