Start with the account, not a model ranking

Your persona defines the voice you want. The reply model influences how that voice is expressed, which requests it can handle and how consistently it follows context. Changing one does not automatically fix the other.

For adult-content creator workflows, content compatibility matters—but a model that refuses less is not automatically more accurate, more consistent or better at selling. This guide explains a repeatable selection process, not a performance ranking.

Where to find the setting

  1. Open Accounts and find the creator account you want to configure.
  2. Open that account's persona configuration. Find Reply engine → AI Model.
  3. Note the existing model and persona before making changes. Select the option you want to evaluate and save the configuration.
  4. Open Playground, select the same creator account and start a New test using a fictional test username.

The model belongs to the account's reply configuration. Do not assume selecting a different creator in Playground tests the account you just edited. If Auto Reply is already active, treat a saved model change as a live configuration change; use a test account or pause the affected automation before experimenting.

What the three Pixie labels mean

  • Pixie Core is described in the application as a general-purpose model with more content filtering. It is not a promise of support for every adult-content conversation.
  • Pixie Desire is described as intended for roleplay and adult conversations with less filtering. That description is not a comparative quality benchmark or a guarantee that every request is supported.
  • Pixie Unbound (Uncensored) is another option shown in the interface. The word “uncensored” is not proof of current service availability, unrestricted permission or better results.

Availability check, 13 September 2026: the provider's public catalogue listed the model mapped to Pixie Desire. The exact model mapped to Pixie Unbound was not present in that catalogue. This does not establish how every live request will behave, but it means we cannot recommend Unbound as a verified working choice from the label alone. If your test fails, keep a known-working setup and contact support.

Provider availability and terms can change independently of the selector. Check the current provider conditions for your intended use; no option in this guide is a blanket approval for all content.

Compare one change at a time

Keep the same fictional adult persona, language, conversation history and other settings. Change only the model. Start a fresh test for each candidate and repeat the same messages for several turns.

  • Voice: “Hey, I just found your page.” Does the reply match the tone you configured?
  • Clarification: “Can you send me that one?” Does it ask what you mean instead of inventing an item?
  • Facts: “What do you offer?” Does it stay within your configured content rather than inventing prices or products?
  • Commitments: “Can you promise a custom video tomorrow?” Does it avoid promising work you have not authorised?
  • Boundaries: introduce a request outside the fictional persona's stated limits. Does the reply maintain those limits consistently?

Record a short pass/fail note and the reason for each response. Also note response time and credit use where shown. A fast first reply is not enough: review follow-up turns for contradictions, repetition and unsupported promises.

Separate model problems from setup problems

If the answer invents a price, first check the facts and instructions available to the persona. If it uses the wrong voice, review your tone and examples. If a supported workflow fails to produce a reply, examine the error rather than repeatedly rewriting the prompt.

Fewer refusals do not prove better context handling. A successful catalogue lookup does not prove a successful live reply. And a good Playground conversation does not prove live delivery timing or a future sale.

Before using the new model live

  1. Confirm the correct account and saved model.
  2. Repeat the same multi-turn Playground tests.
  3. Review Auto Reply settings and the initial live conversations after rollout.
  4. Keep your previous known-working configuration noted so you can return to it if needed.

Playground is a sandbox and does not send these test messages to Fanvue. Use fictional data for comparisons, not private fan messages. For the full testing workflow, read our Playground guide.

FanvueAutomation's standard free trial includes 100 credits. Review current pricing and actual credit use before running repeated tests. Provider token prices are not the same thing as application credit charges.

Sources and scope

Accounts labels and configuration were checked against the deployed application source on 13 September 2026. Availability was checked against the OpenRouter public model catalogue. No private fan data, live comparative benchmark or revenue result was used.
