Online Nudges: Why Online Does Not Mean Eligible
Review per-fan limits, cooldowns, recent-chat protection and unread-message handling before enabling Online Nudges.

Start with the account, not the message
Open Accounts, select the intended creator account and choose Nudges. Confirm the connection, plan access and available credits in your own workspace. The presence of a settings panel does not by itself establish permission or readiness to send.
The Online fan nudges switch is distinct from the settings below it. Review your existing Auto Reply scope and fan exclusions too: an online fan may still be excluded or have AI disabled. Turning on a feature is not a reason to override a deliberate manual conversation exclusion.
Separate four timing controls
Delay minutes, Daily limit per fan, Nudge cooldown per fan and Skip if chatted recently solve different problems. Delay does not promise delivery at an exact minute; provider status and eligibility checks still matter.
The daily limit is counted for each fan, not as a single campaign-wide cap. It is therefore not a global budget control. The current runtime uses a UTC day boundary for this counter. Cooldown is the gap after a prior successfully sent nudge to that fan. Recent-activity protection separately suppresses a nudge when a conversation has been active within the configured period.
For example, a fictional fan can be online but still fall inside the recent-chat window. Another can have no recent chat but remain inside the nudge cooldown. These are explanations of the settings, not results of a live test.
Choose a tone without treating the template as a transcript
The panel offers Soft, Flirty and Direct types alongside a Message template. The AI uses persona, memory and recent conversation context at send time; the template is a fallback. The eligibility preview is not proof of the exact final message text. Keep your persona and boundaries consistent with the intended account voice.
Understand the unread-message option
Delete previous unread nudge applies to the latest recorded successful nudge for that fan. The runtime looks for that message among recent messages and requires an explicitly unread status before deleting it. A read message, unknown read state or a message that cannot be found is not treated as unread.
This option is not a blanket guarantee that old messages will always disappear, and it should not replace sensible timing limits. Do not describe it as deleting all previous messages or as deleting a fan's replies.
Save before interpreting the preview
Local slider edits are not automatically the saved server configuration. Save intended changes before using Preview online fans in your own authorized workspace. The preview checks saved settings and reports online, eligible and skipped fans. Review the reasons for skipped entries instead of assuming that every online fan should receive a message.
The preview is not a sent message, a rendered AI response or a delivery guarantee. We verified these controls on 23 September 2026 through current source review and read-only navigation, without running Preview, saving changes or sending messages.
Review after a controlled rollout
Record the account, saved settings, review time and observed outcomes in your private operational notes. Do not publish fan names or chat excerpts. If a nudge did not send, check connection/access, credits, Auto Reply scope, exclusions, recent activity, cooldown and daily limits before increasing frequency.
Use a small authorized test scope when available. A read-only staging demonstration cannot validate real generated sends. No revenue or conversion uplift has been established by this guide.
Preflight checklist
- Correct account and connection reviewed.
- Auto Reply scope and explicit exclusions respected.
- Per-fan daily limit distinguished from account-wide budget.
